After a sorcerer passes away, his family is stricken with unknown illnesses. The only clue the sorcerer left behind is a piece of paper with the message, “Father,” scratched on it. The sorcerer’s youngest son, Brandon Waite, delves into his dad’s supernatural activities to find a cure. Set in a New England town, the Devil’s Footprints utilizes mood and ominous atmosphere to tell its tale of battling demons and family curses. When it was released, the Devil’s Footprints drew comparisons to Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Sandman.
