Part of Image’s defunct “non-line,” this four-issue, black-and-white mini-series was created by Jamie Robinson, who began his comic book career in 1994 with the self published sci-fi series Cyberzone.

Billed as a mix of Blade Runner and Twin Peaks, this series, set in the year 2036, introduces Amanda Shane, a retired bounty hunter who has moved far away from the city and the life she once lead five years earlier. When a series of murders by a machine called the Organ Snatcher occurs near her town, she teams with her partner, a sentient weapon named Gunn, to solve the mystery.

The book is carried by the fully fleshed-out characters, but falls tremendously short in the resolution—perhaps Robinson had a sequel in mind…?
