Sun Runners appear next in Sun-Runners HO #1. Issues #1-2 published by Sirius. Issue #3 published by Amazing Comics.

Tales of the Sun-Runners chronicles the adventures of a group of genetically bred heroes. As “sun-runners,” their job was to work as linemen for the solar stations that provide power across the galaxy. The team is comprised of five members: Doctor Gibraltar, an elephantine creature with a mysterious past; Delphi, a fishlike being; Scooter, a rather boisterous robot; and Mark Dancer, a human who was caught in a sunquake on the same rogue star that killed his father twenty years earlier. The flare-up transformed Dancer into a living star, along with a dark star counterpart. This new title continues their adventures, beginning with a fateful meeting with Gibraltar’s dying father.

Sun Runners has a rocky publishing history beginning with an irregular run at Pacific Comics, followed by issues #4 and #5 at Eclipse. Sun Runners then moved to Sirius Comics, but apparently published only a single issue there.
