Hollywood Superstars

    (Epic, 1990-1991)
™ and ©1990 Mark Evanier and Dan Spiegle

In the mid-eighties, actor Lee Majors starred in a television show called “The Fall Guy,” which featured Majors as a Hollywood stunt man who also acted as a bounty hunter in his spare time.

The comic book series, Hollywood Superstars, is very similar to the aforementioned television show. Here, however, the stunt man is joined by a comedian and a no-talent actress. The leader, Jerry Naylor, is a grief-stricken stunt man who blames himself for an accident on a former movie which resulted in the death of several cast members. Jerry is joined by Leo Haney, a fast thinker who works sporadically as a stand-up comedian. The final member of the team is an aspiring actress named Melody, who seems to have no job skills whatsoever.

Hollywood Superstars was created by Dan Spiegle and Mark Evanier (Groo the Wanderer, DNAgents).
