John Victory is a struggling writer certain he’s got a great novel in him somewhere. But after numerous failed efforts and depressing experiences with writing courses and commercially successful writers, he’s being to let some doubts creep in. His own failures, though, make a pretty good story on their own, whether he’s feeding them to women he meets at parties or the strange figures (Death? The Devil?) who travel about in his wake.

This witty black and white series will strike a chord with anyone who has ever written or tried to write, and its simple art and sharp dialogue should entertain even those who haven’t.
