JLA/Witchblade

™ and © DC Comics

When police detective Sara Pezzini, wielder of the mystical Witchblade armor, is brutally attacked while following a lead in Gotham City, she turns to an old friend for help. But what she doesn’t know is that her friend, Barbara Gordon, was once the costumed crime-fighter Batgirl, and now, as Oracle, serves as information guru to the mighty Justice league. Naturally, with a fatally injured woman bonded to a mysterious armor-like substance lying unconscious on her living room floor, Babs calls in the big guns for help. But the parasitic force that is the Witchblade knows how to take care of itself, and quickly sets its sights on a new host. Of course, the stronger the better, and in the DC Universe that usually means a certain Amazon Princess. Can even the combined might of the JLA survive against a Witchblade-enhanced Wonder Woman?
