Bloodfire/Hellina

    (Lightning, 1995)
™ and ©1995 Joseph A. Zyskowski & Steven V. Zyskowski

Plotlines don’t come much simpler than this: Bloodshot’s nephew Chad has fallen in with some bad boys, namely a Satanic cult know as the Seventh Day. Eventually, the cult kidnapped Chad, forcing Chad’s mother to actually do something and call in Bloodshot for help.

Hellina hates the same cult because as a girl, she once tried membership herself, and found it so rewarding that she wound up the soldier of Satan before having her soul cleaned up by a being called Perg. Seeking personal vengeance on the cult, she was defeated by a—We’re not making this up!—demonic, cyborg, heroin junkie named Slaughter House. Although knocked unconscious, she escaped just in time to join forces with Bloodshot. Together, they bust into cult HQ, kill the bad guys, free the kids, and escape just before the house blows up.

…and they all lived happily ever after. The End.
