Okay, there are two Lady Death’s out there: one, the original version who appeared in the sprawling saga of the buxom mistress of Hell who used Evil Ernie as a means of filling the underworld with suffering human souls; two, the CrossGen version who was murdered, resurrected, and put to work as an agent of vengeance to protect the innocent. This black and white art book revives Lady Death again and allows would–be readers to compare the two versions, but ultimately lands in the camp of the original, “classic” Lady Death.
