The Dragon: Blood & Guts
(Image, 1995)
™ and ©1995 Erik Larsen
When Alicia Cordova is called upon to testify against her husband, the super-powered assassin known only as Grip, she insists on having the Chicago P.D.’s most powerful cop, the Savage Dragon, as her bodyguard. The Dragon, who looks quite a lot like the Incredible Hulk crossed with Triton from the Inhumans, has problems of his own. His girlfriend Debbie just stopped a bullet intended for him, and he’s spending his leave time getting completely plastered. Despite the advice from his friend and fellow cop Alex, Dragon blames himself for Debbie’s death, and is on the verge of leaving the force. With the aid of a little scalding-hot French fry grease and a lot of guilt, Alex persuades him to come to the police station to meet Alicia. But Dragon has his own plans, as does Grip…
