Billy the Kid returns as an outlaw in a world that mixes the Wild West with a post-apocalyptic future. Billy has been entrusted with a magical sacred text known as Riot, but its prior guardian, a beautiful yet naïve young girl named Axel, comes as part of the package. He doesn’t have long to consider his new role before bounty hunters attack their party. In the ensuing fight, Axel is mortally wounded, and Billy no longer wants to be Riot’s guardian—he only wants to do everything possible to bring Axel back to life.
