The duchy of Grand Fenwick is the smallest and weakest country in the world. But the Prime Minister, Count Rupert of Mountjoy, believes he has a plot to make the country rich. He’ll ask the United States for money to build a moon rocket, which they’ll grant in the spirit of international cooperation in space.

In reality, Count Rupert plans to use the money to upgrade the country’s plumbing, but he did not count on his bumbling son, or the brilliant scientist Professor Kokintz, actually finding a way to put a rocket into space.

Now two astronauts are headed to the moon in a slapdash rocket ship made of old furnaces and powered by souped-up champagne. Unbelievable? That’s what they thought at Cape Canaveral, until it was too late!

This comic book presents an adaptation of the movie “The Mouse on the Moon.”
