The Western Kid (2nd Series)

™ and ©1971 Marvel Characters, Inc.

The Western Kid is Tex Dawson, a rough-and-tumble lawman of the Old West. Armed with a pair of six-shooters, he takes on bad guys the likes of Comanche Pete and Hank Morgan. As with most traditional Western Heroes, Dawson is an ace marksman, but never shoots to kill. Unfortunately, his reputation often precedes him in that matter, leading the villains to take try taking advantage of his merciful nature. Still Tex, his dog Lightning and his horse Whirlwind always come out on top in the end.

This 1971–1972 series consisted of five reprint issues from Atlas Comics’ original Western Kid series of the 1950s.
