Ever thought the female combatants in World War II were limited to Rosie the Riveter in the States and the WACs overseas? Then you have obviously never heard of the “Percy Patrol.” This gang of elite British female commandos consists of Pvt. Shelley “Ripper” Skirtzoff, Pvt. Vicky Cumming, Sgt. Eva Destruction, and Cpl. Diana Daring. These fine ladies lay themselves down for their country on a regular basis. They keep a stiff upper lip during even stiffer action. Whether it’s fighting Rum smugglers, Pacific Rim natives, enemy pilots, or German spies, they’re always going down for truth, justice, and the Allied way. And they usually come out on top.

Art Wetherell does the writing and art for this adults-only, tongue-in-cheek (among other places) look at four beautiful women soldiers who don’t mind taking one for King and Country.
