The smash hit movie, Ghostbusters, and its sequel gave rise to Ghostbusters merchandising mania. Kids wanted everything from the action figures, to the play sets, to the cartoon.

Slimer is the Ghostbuster’s mascot. Not only did this food-ravaging, cute, little green ghost get his own cartoon, action figures, and supporting cast; he got his own comic book series as well. In this title, Now Comics comes up with fun stories that all children can enjoy. In most of the stories, the creators play off of the voracious appetite possessed by the legless, blundering spirit.
