Deadman (3rd Series)

™ and ©2002 DC Comics, Inc.

Evolving out of the DC Comics “skip week” event, Dead Again, this latest incarnation of Deadman finds deceased acrobat Boston Brand on the trail of the escaped residents on Nanda Parbat. Created by Rama Kushna, Deadman’s spirit guide, the city was a mythical utopia that housed the evil spirits of murders and cutthroats, where they were at last able to come to peace, freed of their evil natures. With Rama Kushna’s murder, however, the walls break down and those benign citizens of the secret city are reunited with their evil spirits and set free on the world. The ghostly hero, Deadman, is forced to hunt down these criminals before they throw the world into utter chaos. Deadman is a classic character made famous in the 70s by the amazing artwork of Neal Adams, and a welcome reincarnation in the modern DC Universe.
