Deadman (1st Series)

“Boston” Brand was a circus aerialist, risking his life two shows a night without a net. As Deadman, he thrilled the audience, until he was suddenly gunned down in the middle of his act. Deadman was dead.

Then, an Indian god named Rama Kushna took pity on the carny, bringing his spirit back from the great beyond. Boston is given the power to inhabit the bodies of others, and is granted a final wish: to be able to find the man who killed him.

First appearing in the pages of Strange Adventures #205, Deadman was one of the last great lights in that title’s twilight days. This, his first self-titled series, brings back those early adventures.
