For unknown reasons, Terry-Toons Comics (featuring Mighty Mouse, Heckle & Jeckle, and Gandy Goose) became Paul Terry’s Comics (featuring the same characters), and then another series of Terry-Toons Comics began a year later. Confused? You bet. In any case, the Terry-Toons were successful theatrical cartoons for over 30 years, but are usually ignored in favor of the superior Looney Tunes and Walt Disney product. Eventually, the Terry-Toons created cartoons for television and yet another comic book series was devised called New Terrytoons!
