This eccentric series combines the fantasy and Western genres for a gritty two-fisted adventure. True to its Western roots, Riot stars Billy the Kid, named after the legendary American outlaw that will be forever viewed as a darkly romantic symbol of the old west. In this book, Billy the Kid makes the mistake of trying to steal the magical book Riot. The move could’ve killed him; however, Riot makes a deal with him: Protect Riot’s fetching bodyguard Axel—or die. What seems like a simple enough request becomes a difficult and dangerous task.
