Alf Comics Magazine

    (Marvel, 1988-1989)

Alf was apparently a very successful comic book series back in the days when Marvel was still licensing properties. Alf was a mainstay for their Star Comics line that began in 1984, even outlasting the Star logo and the original Alf TV series which was canceled in 1992! So successful was Alf for Marvel, that they spun it off into this digest-sized magazine featuring reprints from the earlier series. “Alf,” for the uninitiated, stands for “Alien Life Form”.
