Grifter (Vol. 1)

Grifter was the first of the WildC.A.T.s gang to get his own series. Cole Cash, a.k.a. Grifter, was a onetime member of Team 7, fighting alongside Deathblow in a series of covert actions across the world. Later, he would join the struggle against the Daemonites as part of W.I.L.D.C.A.T.S, although this series begins just after he had quit that group, feeling that his skills were getting stale.

Grifter’s main power is his unerring ability with firearms of all sorts. Dressed like a Western badman, he specializes in cracking jokes while pulling off shots that would make Annie Oakley gape in astonishment. This series, by writer Steven Seagle and an assortment of pencilers, is consistently entertaining, and a good primer on the larger conflicts in the Image universe.
