Oh My Goddess! Part VIII

    (Dark Horse, 2000)
™ and ©1999 Kosuke Fujishima

Each of the three goddesses living with college student Keiichi has their own distinct personality, and the youngest of the women, Skuld, is given the spotlight in the two-part “Childhood’s End.” Skuld learns the joy of riding a bicycle in the initial chapter: it’s actually an analogy for growing up, bike riding as a way of gaining independence. Skuld seeks assistance from her sweet elder sister Belldandy, but she refuses her request, letting Skuld learn on her own. At first, Skuld is upset by her sibling’s behavior; however, her motivation to succeed kicks into full gear.t
