The Dirty Pair: Fatal but not Serious

    (Dark Horse, 1995, 1996)
™ and ©1995 Haruka Takachiho. English version ©1995 Adam Warren and Studio Proteus

In the year 2141, traveling through space with a warp drive is like traveling to grandma’s house on a one horse open sleigh, even easier. Because of the relative ease of space travel, the human race has spread out in the form of galactic colonies which are governed by the United Galactica, a unified peace force. However, crime still exists in the future, so when the trouble gets too rough, “Trouble Consultants” are brought in. These consultants are teams of specially trained police operatives. Two of the best of these agents are “the Lovely Angels,” two women who, although they are very good, always find some way to destroy plenty of property in the process. This destruction provokes the hated nickname, “the Dirty Pair.”

This is the first limited series a Dark Horse for the manga-influenced, but American-made characters.
