Harvey
(Marvel, 1970-1972)
™ and © Marvel Characters, Inc.
Marvel made yet another attempt to issue a teenage humor comic to expand their line, this time featuring the adventures of Harvey and his friends, and managed to annoy two competing comic book companies in the process: Archie, for blatantly ripping off the tried-and-true Archie characters and formula with similar drawing and writing style, and Harvey, for foolishly calling the book, Harvey. (Equivalent today to Marvel issuing a book called “DC Comics”). Only a handful of issues were published before the book was pulled.
