One would think the job of librarian would be a somewhat peaceful endeavor, no? One would be mistaken! Rex Libris has been enforcing library rules and tracking down deadbeat library patrons for over 2,000 years. Inconsolable after the ancient library of Alexandria burned to the ground, Rex vowed then and there to punish the thoughtless masses who dared disrespect the public library system. Through the ages, whether he is fending off other-dimensional dictators without library cards, exchanging riddles with a sphinx, or picking up blueberry muffins for the administrator (the Egyptian deity Thoth), Rex has devoted his life to serving the library. Neither space, time, nor gods of the pantheon will help you if your book is overdue and Rex is on the case. Have you returned your library books? Have you, punk?
