Jesse Chambers, also known as Jesse Quick, is the daughter of legendary speedster Johnny Quick and patriotic super-heroine Liberty Belle. Like her father, she gains super-speed by reciting the equation “3X2(9YZ)4A!”

Jesse has always been her father’s daughter, but in this one-shot special, Jesse is considering giving it all up. Her father had died after speeding up so fast that he entered the “speed-force”—a one-way trip to oblivion. Her mother, meanwhile, has become increasingly bitter about the loss, and insists that all costumed adventurers get…is dead.

When her mother is attacked by speed-ninjas, in the service of the same enemy who killed her father, Jesse decides embark on one final, deadly mission to gain revenge. Accompanied by Wonder Woman, she must decide what price she’s willing to pay for vengeance.
