Scott Adams was a pioneer of the computer adventure game, taking a new generation of gamers from desert islands to haunted houses with his ingenious series of adventure games. With personal computers becoming commonplace in the homes of many a comic book reader, Marvel decided to try its luck at this new form of entertainment.

So, in cooperation with Scott Adams, Marvel created the Questprobe series. Questprobe was a series of computer adventure games, featuring prominent Marvel characters such as Spider-Man and the Incredible Hulk. To accompany the games, Marvel also published Questprobe comic books that were related to, but did not provide the answers for, the adventure games.
