In Temporal City, commerce, and thus everything else, depends on the IDT (Inter-Dimensional Tunnel). As sovereign of the city, sole jurisdiction and responsibility for the IDT falls to the lovely Strangelove. But being the dimensional nexus that it is, Temporal City is a hotbed of political intrigue, and though her rule is supposed to be absolute, various factions eagerly await any opportunity to wrest control away from Strangelove. She walks a dangerous path, caught between the G.E.R.M. (Gearheads and Electroids Resistance Movement) uprising, the inter-dimensional ruling Council, her own police force, and the Hyper-Bullies, a eccentric band of hired mercenaries.
