Another comic adaptation by Charlton Comics (the home of such heroes as Steve Ditko’s The Question, Captain Atom, Sarge Steel, the Blue Beetle and Nightshade), Hee Haw is a series of one page laughs and yuks featuring the characters from the sketch comedy show. There are jokes here about Lulu, Roy, Archie, Junior and all the rest: sight gags and lowbrow humor at its Southern charm best. Also thrown in for the kids are pages to color and connect the dot puzzles. This early 1970s series is truly a trip down memory lane for fans of the show.
