World of Archie

It’s nice to know that in a world where Superman dies (then gets better), Green Lantern becomes a mass murderer, and Spider-Man is said to be a clone of himself, some things stay resolutely the same. Thus it is in the World of Archie. This series, started in 1995, brings readers more humorous adventures featuring Archie and all his pals.

Although generations have grown up and old reading his adventures, Archie remains a perpetual teenager at Riverdale High. The blonde Betty is still a wholesome heartthrob, and rich girl Veronica Lake is still her jealous rival for Archie’s affections. Jughead still craves lunch above all other human pursuits, Reggie is still a fink, and the whole gang is still good for a laugh after all these years.
