This was no whirlwind courtship. It’s been fifty-eight years since shy Superman alter-ego Clark Kent first met the fiery female reporter Lois Lane. After decades of flirting, Clark finally worked up the nerve to pop the question. Still, it wasn’t until several years later, in 1996 that the Man of Steel wed the woman of his dreams.

Of course, there are bound to be a few hitches in any wedding. For a start, Lois is nearly forced into marrying a Latin drug kingpin. At the same time, Superman has been stripped of his powers by freak sunspot activity. Rest assured that true love will find a way.
