The Stevens family is a typical modern family. Dr. Steve Stevens is a brilliant scientist perhaps some would refer to him as a genius. Loving wife Amy is as beautiful as she is kind. Their son, Perry is an ordinary kid. But the Stevens family has a horrible secret. In order to spare Perry from a lifetime of ridicule from a disfiguring and debilitating disease, Dr. Stevens seemingly cured him with an experimental serum. Amazingly, the serum eradicated the disease from his son’s body but its side effects have done something much worse. Perry has metamorphosed into a six foot, two inch tall, 500 pound giant. As the family flees from clandestine government agencies, Dr. Stevens painfully realizes their only chance at a normal life lies in a laboratory and one man can make it happen—him.
