The House of Amethyst ruled peaceably over Gemworld for generations. But then the House of Opal’s Dark Lord killed the king and queen and took over the House of Amethyst. Faithful servant Citrina opened a rift in time and asked Herb and Marian Winston to adopt the baby Amethyst, whom they called Amy. Thirteen years passed until Amethyst went back to Gemworld and found out about her heritage.

Though she’s only thirteen in our world, when the princess travels back to Gemworld, she’s twenty and has fantastic mystic powers—as well as a cute boyfriend, a great body, and a divine costume. But can she save Gemworld from its evil rulers and take back her throne? Only time—and this preteen fantasy—will tell.
