In the sixties they had FOOM. In the nineties they had Marvel Age. Marvel’s most recent house marketing publication is Marvel Spotlight. Filled with Marvel creator interviews, sketches, artist checklists and news about upcoming projects, Spotlight is a monthly dose of what’s happenin’ in the House of Ideas. Spotlight mostly spends its time focusing on one or two current hot projects. The magazine does extensive writer and artist interviews on those books or storylines, covering each new project in depth and hopefully whetting fans’ appetites for more. If it’s hip, it’s new, and it’s what Marvel wants the Internet to be buzzing about, it’s featured in Marvel Spotlight.
