In this title, a hostile alien fleet of spaceships obliterates a defenseless Federation colony. Klingon Captain Koll cannot restore his lost honor as long as Imperial Adjunct Katha restricts his impulsive actions. On a smaller scale, Klingon Lieutenant Koleth seeks redemption for a moment of weakness expressed in the face of death. These circumstances do not exhibit a particular distinction, but nonetheless present a complex tale of greed, deceit, and treachery interwoven with the pursuit of Klingon honor.
