This violent manga series is based on an equally violent anime series about a warrior named Ken who comes back from the dead and seeks his lost love in a post-apocalyptic future. Ken is the true Fist of the North Star, which allows him to punch through his adversaries and make them explode, but this is something he must prove over and over again as new would-be overlords oppress the weak and get in the way of Ken and the object of his quest.
