The love between the Elven Princess Lumari and her Drow lover Cerin seems doomed from the start, the enmity between their two races too much to overcome. Hunted down like criminals, Cerin is forced to flee, while his beloved Lumari becomes the victim of a time-stasis enchantment. But when he finally returns to free his erstwhile lover, he sets in motion a curse that unleashes a legion of undead warriors, and seals the doom of Lumari’s people.

A familiar band of adventurers, Lucien the Paladin, the dwarven warrior Roarn, and the elven archer Verena, are called upon to attempt the retrieval of Lumari and thus stop the curse before it can run its course. But with only a handful of days to complete their mission, this sequel to Dungeons and Dragons: In the Shadow of Dragons may well be their final adventure.
