Adolescent Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters: The Lost Treasures
(Parody, 1993)
™ and ©1993 Parody Press
Nothing is safe from being spoofed by the Hamsters, and this time it is famous comic creators and horror movies that are among the victims. In “Big Name Artists Draw the Hamsters,” we see what the stars might look like if drawn by Frank Miller, Jack Kirby, and Rob Liefeld. Another story drops the cast onto the sets of Psycho to contend with Norman Bates, and Friday the 13th to battle Jason, and we get to see how they might have handled the life-threatening situations of the movie heroes. Don’t worry—there’s not a scary moment throughout.
As usual, it’s the jokes rather than the chills, that are fast and furious, and these stories give a variety of creators a chance at writing and drawing the martial arts masters. Parody Press publishes this black-and-white series.
