Continüm Presents

™ and ©1989 Continüm Comics

In the late 1980s, Joseph Naftali’s Continüm Comics was attempting to put out a quality series of independent black-and-white titles. In order to highlight some of the best they had to offer, an anthology series, Continüm Presents, was born. Different artists and different storytellers were given a chance to show what they had and hope sales would be sufficient to warrant publication.

The ongoing story from issue to issue was a 500-year-old crime fighter known only as The Dark, whose healing factor made other late twentieth century super-heroes’ regenerative properties look like kiddie band-aides.
