ZombieWorld: Champion of the Worms

    (Dark Horse, 1997)
™ and ©1997 Pat McEown and Michael Mignola

Nobody has more fun with undead bodies than Mike Mignola and Pat McEown.

Champion of the Worms is a lighthearted tale of ancient evil threatening to wreak destruction on the modern world. It seems that the sarcophagus of the dread Hyperborean necromancer Azzul Gotha has been recovered. Inside, Gotha had been kept alive, but immobile and powerless for millennia, held in place by a binding stone. But once archaeologists transported the sarcophagus to a museum, Gotha was able to use what little powers he had to trick a museum guard into removing the stone, freeing him. Now, with a museum full of animated mummies at his disposal, Gotha (a.k.a. the Champion of the Worms) intends to raise a new empire of death—unless a motley crew of psychics and bruisers can track Gotha down and put him back in his box.
