This comic sprung from a hit television adventure series that ran during the late sixties. The show starred Richard Basehart as Admiral Lee Nelson, commander of the advanced sub, Seaview. On television, Nelson and his crew underwent any number of adventures from dealing with spies and saboteurs to exploring strange underwater shipwrecks. The comic book takes them on even stranger adventures, including encounters with the mythical sea sirens and fantastic underwater civilizations.
