Rob Liefeld’s signature creation received a major revamping in the third series when he published them under his own imprint, persuading Alan Moore to take over the writing chores and Steve Skroce, the art. Now under this anthology title, Awesome Adventures, the team returns featuring the clever characterization and dialogue that is Alan Moore’s trademark. Additionally, Moore has created a “Silver Age” history featuring heroes that inspired the present team as a way to contrast and critique the present team as well as the state of the comic industry.
