Harry, Larry, and Jerry are the Trollords. Creators Scott Beaderstadt and Paul Fricke wanted to tackle hard subjects in a lighthearted way. There isn’t a much tougher subject than death, so the two creators chose that route. The trolls cheated the Grim Reaper out of their own deaths, and decided that their meaning in life would be to help other people realize just how precious life really is. Their first “client” was Kelly Ann Nugrowski, who wanted to commit suicide because her boyfriend had left her. The Trolls helped her to regain her self-esteem, all the while fighting off death.

Trollords premiered with this black-and-white series in 1986. It later moved to both, Comico and Apple comics.
