Pulp Fiction Library: Mystery in Space

In the latter half of the 1940s, science fiction comics came into vogue, and DC Comics capitalized on the trend with Real Fact Comics, Strange Adventures, Mystery in Space, and My Greatest Adventure. The stories tended to be very clever and boasted the talents of such industry legends as Gardner Fox (All Star Comics), Frank Frazetta (Adventure Comics), Joe Kubert (Tarzan), Carmine Infantino (The Flash), Murphy Anderson (Hawkman), and Mike Sekowsky (Justice League of America). This trade paperback collects a number of those classic tales starring Tommy Tomorrow, Adam Strange, Chris KL-99, Space Ranger, Space Cabby, and Captain Comet. It combines them with stories of a more recent vintage from DC’s late 1970s/early 1980s sci-fi offerings—Time Warp and the revival of Mystery in Space.
