Velocity is a young speedstress and the newest member of Cyberforce. Her real problem is that she worries too much—about little things like getting killed. As a result, she’s afraid to use her super-powers to become a hero.

In this mini-series, the girl who specializes in running away will have to learn how to fight. A super-powered shapeshifter named Charnel has become fascinated with her and is slaughtering anyone who gets between him and Velocity. Although Velocity’s first instinct is to ask other heroes for help, this only widens the destruction. In the end, she’ll have to use her powers, her wits, and some newly discovered courage if she hopes to live.
