Writer-artist Ron Ledwell (WW2) explores Hitler’s concept of Special Forces in this black-and-white title from New England Comics. Unlike the Allied idea of a small, elite force for select missions, the German Special Forces were large battalions that traveled with their own artillery and heavy weapons. Ledwell’s clear line-work is reminiscent of the E.C. war comics of the 1950s, and his storytelling skills are sharp.
