This four-issue mini-series draws its characters and situations from a role-playing game of the same name. Indianapolis is the home to the hero group known as the Crusaders. As the group bickers and squabbles in a manner similar to the more recent Young Heroes in Love, their enemies, the nefarious Crushers, are freeing themselves from jail and preparing to take down the Crusaders once and for all. One by one the heroes fall. But into this mix come Shadowman and Condor, two new recruits who have arrived for their membership interview. Will these newcomers save the Crusaders, or just add to the Crushers’ victory?
