This limited series from Dark Horse Comics and Rockstar Games was released at the same time as the Playstation 2 video game of the same name and focuses on an engaging mystery. In this noir-and-neon world, a criminal organization called the Syndicate is wreaking havoc on the multi-national corporation WorldCo, but the Syndicate operatives’ efforts are compromised by ghosts that attack them after their heists and jack their loot. For the most part, stories of these ghost-like entities are treated as urban legends that circulate among thieves, but when a high-profile heist is botched by the ghosts, Agent Konoko of the Technical Crimes Task Force gets involved and things get even more interesting.
