Grace is a cop-turned-vampire who retained her soul, and now spends her existence eliminating the other, amoral vampires she meets. Greg is a former actor accused of murdering a late-night talk-show host—a vampire leader who was in fact killed by Grace. Now they’re on the run, have become lovers, and she’s turned him into a vampire, too. But as Grace learns more about his violent, irresponsible nature, she begins to wonder if she made a grievous mistake.

In this mini-series, the two must deal with a pair of mercenaries pursuing the bounty on Greg’s head, while Grace confronts her headstrong lover’s carelessness, and the consequences of her own actions. Meanwhile, the military tries to usurp a project designed to “cure” vampirism for their own ends, much to the chagrin of the scientists working on the project.

Written by Arvin Loudermilk and drawn by Mike Iverson, this fast-paced series deals intelligently with issues of love, loss, and morality. Published by Quality Press.
