Conan the Adventurer

For a “dead” title, Conan showed an awful lot of life in the early 1990s. After hundreds of issues, the centerpiece Conan the Barbarian was finally ended in 1994, only to have the character reappear months later in Conan the Adventurer, Conan Classic, Conan Saga, Conan, etc. For its part, Conan the Adventurer was aimed at slightly younger readers, and related tales of a youthful Conan just starting out on the barbarian life that would eventually result in him being crowned Conan the King.

This short-lived series was meant to complement an animated cartoon series of the same name.
