Fang: Testament

The citizens of Silo City remember a happier time. But that was before the invaders from the north, led by the wicked priestess Lenore, subjugated the populace and leaving them only a faint hope as they pray for a savior. “But who is it?” Lenore wonders, as the scene shifts to far mountain peak where an imposing woman, under the tutelage of The Maker, is battling demonic creatures. Obviously Silo City’s prayers will soon be answered.

This four-issue miniseries features Francesca from Fang, a warrior who has been blessed by The Maker to be his envoy. Created, written and drawn by Kevin J. Taylor, this title uses religious symbolism to suggest a greater theme than actually exists. In the end, it is the generously, perhaps even grotesquely endowed women, that props up the story.
